Understanding basics is one of the most powerful tools a student can have.
My philosophy of teaching consists of the understanding of fundamental principles that can be found across all disciplines. I provide basic instruction on music basics and allow the student to create, iterate, and grow.
Below are some examples of songs written completely by students with less than a year of songwriting lessons. It’s amazing to see something that previously was unknown and undervalued, come to existence through the creative process. I believe anyone is capable of these experiences, regardless of talent.
